Dashboard Reports

Low Barrier (12-Hour) shelters and Temporary Family shelters in the District report a nightly count of persons served. The Community Partnership has taken this data and compiled a "dashboard" report - an interactive, visual model that lets users see trends in shelter occupancy.

The dashboard includes:

• The Nightly Census graph looks at utilization by shelter or by ward over a given month. Number Served, shown in blue, is the number of clients served at each shelter each night. In gray is the number of clients served by the shelter the same night in the previous year. These figures are based on data reported by providers contributing to the nightly shelter census.
  
  In red is a facility’s Bed/Unit Availability. This is based on provider contracts with the Community Partnership for year-round and/or Seasonal/ Overflow beds at each site.
  
  
• Also included is a table detailing information on each shelter including the high, low and average counts of clients served.
